A little bit about me

Hi my name is Kaylen, and I am 18 years old in school for cosmetology. While in high school i took early childhood classes which helped me gain my CDA certification. This certification allows me to work with toddlers in a daycare setting. In the class, I taught a daycare of 7-9 preschoolers alongside other teachers and a teachers aide. In the program I learned how to foster growth in children’s developmental areas, serve proper healthy and nutritious meals, and I am also for certified. For 2 school years I worked one on one with multiple kids teaching them how to use scissors, hold the paintbrush the correct way, write and spell their name and more. In addition to this I also babysit children in a synagogue setting. During the jewish holidays many families need babysitters while the parents are celebrating. I normally would be responsible for 6-10 toddlers and I would guide them throughout their day and make sure they are playing nicely, reading, eat lunch, and complete their prayer.
