Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have Nannied and taught preschool/preK for over 15 years. I also have taught swim lessons for over 15 years. I was a USS swimmer from 4 yrs -18yrs old. Swimming has always been apart of me. Fun fact: Used to take my afternoon naps only in the pool before age 3!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going to the park, Zoo, library for story or music time. Going to the children’s museum, Aquarium or movies.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Loving and watching them grow as if they are your own! I am very attached to my currently babies of 6 years! Last family before them 10 years! So it can be very hard to say until we meet again! Knowing that you helped raise and be apart if their world is everything! I always say I love what I do and I wouldn’t trade it for anything! Life without children would be boring , sad and dull. They bring such a colorful light , joy and adventure to each day! Kids Never live the same day twice! Which I love that!
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with special needs coach swim team and track and field with special Olympics. I have worked with children in my class in school setting as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Love most moments spending time with my kiddos. My youngest now always tells me love you so much! He melts my heart every time . He and I have a special bond since he came home from the hospital. He is very strong willed boy version of me when I was little for sure! Test my patients ? Oh Yes! But then turns any frustrating situation in to a melted heart with love you so much!
