I have professional experience working with children with special needs as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In this role, I supported children with a range of developmental, behavioral, and communication needs by following individualized treatment plans and using positive reinforcement strategies. I helped children build skills in areas such as communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, and daily living skills, while creating a structured and supportive environment.
I’ve worked with children with different abilities and learning styles, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and flexibility when meeting each child where they are. Kids are and always have been my biggest passion, I started babysitting children at the ripe age of 10, with infants being the first age I watched. I worked at a daycare where I had the opportunity to work with amazing children, ages three months-2 -years-old. I would have up to four infants by myself. Or six 1-year-old, depending on the day. In addition, I have worked with/been around twins and children with extra needs such as A. D. H. D, O. C. D, anger issues, autism, anxiety, and severe allergies.
