I love going to the park on sunny days where we can enjoy fresh air, play on the playground, and explore nature together. Indoors, I enjoy reading books that spark imagination, doing arts and crafts projects to encourage creativity, and playing interactive games that make learning fun. I also like incorporating music, simple baking activities, and educational play to keep children engaged, active, and growing in a positive way.

My experience with special needs children...

I have extensive experience supporting special needs children in different settings. I worked with children on the autism spectrum through ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy, where I focused on structured routines, positive reinforcement, and individualized care plans to help children reach their goals. In addition, I worked in the school system with children who required extra academic and social support, which gave me experience collaborating with teachers and families to ensure consistency between school and home. These roles taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of celebrating every child’s progress.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child I worked with through ABA therapy achieve a new milestone. We had been practicing simple communication skills for weeks, and the first time they used words on their own to ask for something was such a proud and emotional moment. Seeing their confidence grow and knowing I played a part in that progress reminded me why I love working with children. Moments like these — whether big or small — are what make this work so rewarding.
