I have worked in an afterschool program working with elementary school kids for 3 years where I helped them with their homework, academics and making sure they are playing safely and feeling supported. I have also worked at a Museum of Children's Art where I help assist the kids in expressing feelings through artwork creating a creative supportive environment for them to express theirselves. Additionally, I have worked at a Pre-school program as a assistant teacher where I help assist teachers in whatever they need and making sure the kids are playing safe. I also assist kids in naptime and playtime.

My work included attending jobs with the client, supporting them throughout the work day by utilizing grounding/ breath work techniques when emotions would overwhelm, as well as write comprehensive case notes for their family or personal use!
I personally value empathy, compassion and respect as a base for any contact with children as we learn so much about what to accept in life as a child.
