A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Kelsey and I became a new mom in June. I have over 10 years experience with children and a BA from Portland state with a minor in early childhood education. My experience ranges from in home day cares to full time Nanny and includes 5 years in a preschool classroom. I want to find a nanny share job where I can bring my baby with me. I have a lot of experience with large groups of children. I think when children spend time together they learn about inclusion, sharing, and problem solving that they can’t learn from interacting with adults. It developes the critical thinking skills that are so important to their intellectual growth. I believe in a play based approaches and try to bring learning into everyday activities that they seem interested in. This approach helps foster a love for learning that will hopefully carry through to when they are school aged. I look forward to meeting some wonderful families and continuing my journey of helping children grow and learn.
