The most important part about being a nanny...

For me the most important past or being a nanny is helping to allow children to grow up in environments where they are supported and their independence is fostered. I am big on being the right hand of the parents and aligning how I am with their kids to how they are with their kids but independence and showing kids that they are safe to make mistakes is most important to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when the kiddo I was watching for 1.5 years got a little sister and made his mother, father and myself sit down to discuss that he would like to go out on “dates” with each of us once a month where his sister wasn’t allowed so he still got the one on one time! It was so sweet that he had learned from both his parents and myself that he was fully allowed to ask for what he wants and he used some of the EQ skills we had been working on ect.
