Previously, I worked with a family that had an 8 year old girl with down syndrome in the home. She and I would work on school work, puzzles, outdoor activities, and more together. Outside of that, I have spent ample time with children as I have a very extended family! My closest cousin has four kids and I have babysat for them on multiple ocassions.

I enjoy puzzles, legos, and other mental strengthening games. I like to encourage them to pick out their own books to read at first and then work up once they are "in the mood" for reading.
