I have a pretty unique situation with my current family because the mom is my manager at another job. So we were at an event for the other job, and the mom took my car back to their house because she has a van and it was going to be easier for me to load all the stuff into hers when the event ended. Whenever she got back to the house, the 2 1/2 year old girl I watch was asking “Where’s Kelsie? Where’s Kelsie?” because she saw my car and I wasn’t there. So I got to facetime her and tell her goodnight over the phone. It was just sweet to me to see that I’ve made as much of an impact on the kiddos lives as they’ve made on mine.
