Almost all of my family have special needs ranging from a shunt to seizures to type 1 diabetes. Even I, myself, have special needs and have celiac disease. With having celiac comes knowing about the seriousness of food allergies as well and how life threatening they can be.
The most important part about being a nanny...
This wasn't quite a 'nanny moment' but it's stuck with me for over 10 years. It was the first time I was ever allowed to hold my cousin, B. She was the first of the new generation in our family and I remember I sat with her on the sofa for over half an hour just staring at her. My mom and my other cousin, B's mom, were just a few feet away at the computer. I knew they were keeping an eye on me but I felt like I had been given the whole world to guard and keep safe.

Hi my name is trinity beck. I am 20 years old I am currently out of a job right now so my hours are free. I have a 5 year old daughter. My first job at the age 17 was at a child care center called agape child care. I worked there from January 2019 to June 2019. When I was working I had the age group 1-3 year old teaching them their basic learning skills. I also changed diapers , help potty train them.I would put breakfast out for them in the morning as soon as I got to work. After breakfast we would sit in our area and say our alphabets , color , numbers and shapes. Let them play until it was lunch time or watch a movie. After lunch I would help clean up while the kids were getting ready for their naps. After I finish cleaning i would sit and watch over the kids as they took their nap. After nap my group of kids would come back on our side after changing diapers and making sure everyone used the bathroom. Than we would let the kids go outside and play until it was time for dismissal.
