What matters most about being a nanny in my opinion is having a strong loving and caring relationship with the children and parents. When you do you build a strong level of trust in the relationship. As a nanny, I strive to teach the kids things they never knew before and help them achieve New milestones. This is crucial for the development of the children. I was a nanny for two children ages 8 and 9 they are both on the spectrum.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nannying moment was teaching the kids loving and memorable lessons. I was a nanny for two kids ages eight and nine they often had a hard time staying focused on school work. So I would often let them take breaks to cool off, one decided to do some of their chores. “ Laundry” he got a little to excited with the detergent and overfilled it. I’m sure you can imagine what happened next. It was a big mess although it was a little frustrating at the moment we cleaned it up together and I taught him not act on his intrusive thoughts. He thanked me for not being upset and we went back to school work productivity this time.
