I have coached cheer leading for ages 4-6 years old for two years. I also was a babysitter for many years before I started to nanny. I nannied for 2 boys ages 6 & 9 for two summers.

I love going for walks, going to the park, reading, cooking, and doing fun activities such as making slime, creating their own board game, or playing with water balloons anything that is fun, and also educational.

What matters most is definitely the child or children. Safety is obviously number one, but also ensure that the child is learning how to become a confident and caring child. Giving them space to be themselves and having a safe and trustworthy ally to help them through anything they could be going through.

My favorite nanny moment was with my two boys I nannied for 2 years. It was my last week with them and I was picking them up from hockey camp and they had a crafts time during camp and they both made me a "we will miss you" card and their parents surprised me with balloons and a gift card when I got back to their house.
