Hi! My name is Kendall Phelps, and I’m 25 years old with over 10 years of experience working with children. Since I was 13, I’ve had the opportunity to babysit, nanny, teach dance to young children, and currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Caring for, loving and supporting children has always been my passion.

I am CPR and First Aid certified. I pride myself on being communicative, dependable, kind, and patient with all my families. I understand how important it is for you to feel confident that your children are in safe hands, so I strive to create a fun, nurturing, and supportive environment where they can grow and thrive.

Outside of work, I’m very family-oriented and am currently engaged to my fiancé of 9 years (high school sweethearts). We’re so excited to start a family of our own in the next few years, which makes working with children even more meaningful to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is that the kids feel comfortable with you and actually want to spend time with you. It’s about building trust, having fun with them, and being someone they enjoy being around while still keeping them safe and cared for. It’s also about being reliable, patient, and someone families can trust.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked for Arion care providing respite and habilitation services for a child with special needs for about 10 months. I currently work as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) implementing ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many favorite memories, but one that stands out is nannying for two little ones while their mom was pregnant with baby #3. Being there to support the family throughout that journey and seeing the kids meet their new sibling when mom came home from the hospital was such a special and emotional moment.
