A little bit about me

Hi Families! My name is Kennedy and I'm so excited to meet you! I knew probably since I was six that I wanted to work in education and with families. From a very young age, I began babysitting and volunteering with school-age children. I started my journey in early childhood education at a child development center in Portland, over three years ago! I’ve worked as an infant classroom teacher, and a teacher in a classroom of children 12-24 months old. I just recently earned my BS in Child, Youth, and Family Studies at Portland State University, and am returning in the fall to pursue my MSW. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my time finding new music, adding to my art portfolio, or playing cards with my parents!
