More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a highschool soccer coach during the winter months and run a youth soccer program most weekends! I have been a sioux chef and an executive chef where I was in charge of the yacht clubs care center. This included kids of the ages 3-17.

My youth league I run are kids aged anywhere from 2-11. and of course my Highschool kids are anywhere from 13-18.

I love leading and teaching the youth, as well as learning what they have to teach me. Which is more than most people believe.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything outdoors with some running and energy burning! Sweating is one of the best things for our body! As for indoors, there are also no limits but reading, card/board games are my forte. I have a huge collection of books and most kids love getting immersed in a good book! Some examples are the Magic Tree House series, Harry Potter, Where The Wild Things Are, Goodnight Moon, and one of my personal favorites Harold and the Purple Crayon!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Giving the kids an ear to listen, and a hand when they need it. They teach us the real values of life and I believe that. We all forget what it was like sometimes when life was simpler and their minds are filled with knowledge and creativity. As much as I can teach them, they teach me so much more. There is literally nothing better.

My experience with special needs children...

I have grown up my whole life around special needs children and adults. During my time as a youth coach every season there are multiple participants who classify as special needs. I highly encourage it and love giving back. These are the most tender and remarkable kids. They are not for everyone but I pride myself on relating and listening. Being a friend and friendly face.
