Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I've been a children's enrichment teacher all my life. I've had a dance studio for 40+ years. Now, I'm semi-retired and for the past 4 years I've been nannying and I love it equally. My passion is assisting in the growth and development of children. I love helping them discover their strengths and overcome their perceived weaknesses. I have another nickname - Nature Girl! I enjoy playing outside with the kids. My favorite games are made-up games or playing games of make believe.
"Imagination is everything." Albert Einstein
Imagination leads to self-discovery, creative/innovative thinking, problem solving, self-confidence and qualities of good leadership. Through the realization of their talents and dreams, children are the future creators and leaders our world so desperately needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
"My Pandemic Pal"
When the pandemic stay-at-home order began in 3/20, I had been a nanny for my family for nearly 3 yrs. The little 8 yr old girl, SL, was home and bored. So, her mom and I got creative and I became a remote nanny on FT for an hour a day! We'd play dolls. But, OUR dolls went on wild adventures with SL dreaming up each days escapades and adding onto the wild storyline. Our landscapes were vast. Mountainous living room couches with deep blue ocean water rugs. Some days the Ipad would be on the floor and I would watch her run and "fly" over me onto her bed laughing, giggling and burning off pent up energy.
SL returned to school in 9/20. I quarantined with the family. SL loves acro. She literally flipped her way into 2021! She's out on her trampoline daily with me coaching from the side. She just got her back handspring! I'm glad things are getting back to normal, but I'll always fondly remember, "My Pandemic Pal".

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Saco, ME: Tiffany S.
Hi! My name is Tiffany, and I have spent most of my life caring for and working with children. I am currently a first grade and kindergarten teacher and have been teaching for the past five years. I also have over 10 years of experience working with children with behavioral needs and autism. Before becoming a teacher, I was a stay-at-home mom, which gave me valuable hands-on experience raising and caring for children. During my high school years, I worked as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and Water Safety Instructor, so safety has always been important to me. I was previously CPR and First Aid certified and would be happy to renew those certifications if it would make your family more comfortable. I enjoy creating a fun, nurturing, and structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow. I would love the opportunity to help your family this summer!
