Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a volunteer volleyball coach for 8 months before I applied for a paying position. I started volunteering because of my love for the sport. Once I realized that I love teaching children, I thought I'd take it a little more seriously and apply for a more permanent position. I worked as a volleyball coach for two more years (2 seasons), up until my last week before leaving to attend Cal State University, Fullerton. I have since completed my first year of schooling while studying psychology. I have recently decided to permanently reside back home in Bakersfield in order to be closer to my family.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
playing sports, cooking fun meals (eg. smiley face pancakes, smiley grilled cheese, etc.), biking, arts and crafts, etc.
