Hello Families. Ive always had an affinity for children at a relatively young age. Engaging with children in the aspect of growth, exploration and knowledge are rewarding factors in being a caregiver. At a very young age i discovered my maternal instinct, id find myself babysitting nieces, nephews and also family friends. I adore sharing my creativity weather it be creating fun new games for the children or songs when its time to clean up or head to bed. I happened to be a big kid myself and believe it is important for children to learn and grow in an enriched loving environment. Volunteering with the Special Olympics during the summers, participating in school food drives and community events for children and families, helping care for children with special needs, and supporting children of all ages through educational activities, emotional support, daily routines, and structured care in both home and community settings. I also have 3 godchildren who spend weekends with me often, where we enjoy crafts, movie nights, educational activities, outdoor outings, and fun adventures together.

I enjoy creating a fun, loving, and structured environment for children. I love doing arts and crafts, reading books, sensory play, puzzles, music and dance time, baking simple treats together, and educational activities that help children learn while having fun. I also enjoy outdoor walks, playground trips, bubbles, chalk drawing, nature walks, and creative play that keeps kids active and engaged. I always make sure children feel safe, happy, heard, and comfortable while encouraging creativity, confidence, and independence.

The most important part about being a nanny to me is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe in building genuine bonds with both the children and parents, helping children grow emotionally, socially, and developmentally, and being someone families can truly depend on. I love being a positive part of a child’s life while making everyday moments fun, comforting, and meaningful.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children and adults with special needs through nannying, caregiving, and educational settings. I was a caregiver for a young adult with autism, an assistant preschool teacher for children on the spectrum and children with behavioral challenges, and a DSP for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I’ve also cared for children with ADHD, Asperger’s, brittle bone disease, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and other special needs. I am experienced supporting individuals who are nonverbal, wheelchair dependent, and require patience, structure, compassion, and attentive care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite parts about being a nanny is building genuine bonds with the children and watching them grow. There’s nothing sweeter than kids getting excited when I walk through the door, hearing an infant I cared for begin talking or say my name for the first time, and watching children feel safe enough to fully express their personalities. I love doing crafts, being silly, creating fun memories, and simply letting kids be kids while helping them feel loved, supported, and confident.
