More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked with my current family for 2 years . My undergrad major is Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. I have taught several age groups in my church’s Children’s Worship department.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
One of the things I enjoy most is gauging what the children are arrested in, and then building activities based on their interest. Crafts, music, going to the parks, going to the zoo, really anything that’s outside. I enjoy gardening and planting flowers with the children. Going to the Laron conservatory is always a favorite especially during the butterfly exhibit. Based on the children’s age, I tried to incorporate learning into all of our activities. During the summer I have done bridge books, etc. to help continue their learning during summer break. When the weather requires inside activities, I enjoy crafts, painting with the children, coming up with creative things to do inside other than screen time. Baking and cookie are always fun activities as well .
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel the most important part of being a nanny is to support the parents. I ensure the children are following the established family rules/ guidelines. I have always tried to provide a loving and nurturing environment, where the children know that they’re safe and I am here for them. One of my goals over the past two years has been to take care of any of the ancillary things that would keep parents from being able to have quality time with their children when they get home at the end of the day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have served as a building substitute, and during that time I had the opportunity to work with several special-needs children. I have worked with children on the autistic spectrum as well as children with physical handicaps. Our church had a open arms ministry, which really focused on children with special needs, allowing their parents to attend church service, while providing a safe, nurturing environment for those children to learn as well. I loved being part of that ministry.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many wonderful memories to choose from. I think one of the most memorable experience I had was making Christmas cookies from scratch, and then decorating the tree for the holidays. I also absolutely love it when I can help the children make presents for their parents. It’s such a beautiful thing to see the smile on their face and sense of pride when their parents open it.
Another moment that comes to mind is when one of the children I take care of was really struggling being able to count to 10. We continued to work together and then one day, the child did it!! I rewarded the child with a special gift for accomplishing that goal.

Hello as a mother of Twins, I’ve had lots of practice all the way up until the age of 11. My children are both straight students and have been since kindergarten. We keep a very clean home and so I expected do the same with your home. You will find it better than you left it and your children will be kept very safe because I would want the same thing. I really hope you choose me. My family and I are struggling and really hate to say it, but I could really use the money! AI has taken my husband’s job. So now I am starting a career with babysitting or being a nanny. I have completed some college. I know CPR. I have a vehicle and a valid drivers license. I also have two 11-year-old girls that can help me if that’s OK with you. We eventually want to start our own company either cleaning or being a nanny! Please give us a shot and we will not let you down!
