I'm a firm believer that children learn with their whole selves. They need hands-on, active experiences where their senses are engaged and they can create and problem solve. A child with a stick and mud puddle is a beautiful sight! Outside is my preferred 'classroom' but inside time provides many creative opportunities.

My experience with special needs children...
I started as a special education teacher and primarily worked with learning support and emotional support students K-12. As a special education director, I oversaw all levels of programming with all types of disabilities.
