Hi there! I'm Kimberly, a child nanny and educator with over seven years of experience. I have worked closely with culturally and linguistically diverse children around the globe. I love the world of creative processes, teaching new skills, and helping with challenges. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, trained in Early Childhood Development, and healthy eating practice. I am bilingual (English and Spanish) with practice in American Sign Language and Italian. I love taking the littles out to local community event such as library storytimes, farmers markets, and exploring the outdoors especially during or after a rainy day. On day to day basis I like to keep things fun indoors by creating new games, rearranging play set ups to keep their brains stimulated.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me is being able to be that support that my nanny kids may need to meet their age- appropriate developmental milestones.

My experience with special needs children...

I've worked with children in schools who have special needs. I am RBT experienced so I am familiar with redirecting children who get physical with their peers. I have also babysat children with autism and I've helped them with emotional regulation and understanding big feelings.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I will always remember moments when my nanny kids reciprocate care for me. One of the kids I've nannied long term started preschool and like the little sponge he is, he can now count up more than 100. I was driving him back home from preschool and in a moment of silence he says "Kim, I love you 128". That absolutely melted my heart, I knew how much he's worked towards being able to say something like that. When I started with him, he struggled with emotional regulation, at one point I had accepted the fact that maybe he would never to express care for others. He's always showed care in unique ways such as in showing me his interests, but not verbally how he did that day. It's moments like these that make it all worth it. 128 being the biggest number he knew in that moment told me just how much love he has to give!
