The most important part about being a nanny...
I travelled the world with some of my families. Infact I came to be a part of it. I recall being hugged and kissed when other parents would say they wished their children connected with their nannies like they did me. I was close enough that I was called when one of the mothers went into labor so i could care for their son. I was then told I was the first to hold the baby other than the parents. The fact that parents trusted me with what was most important to them. There were times the parents were unable to get a child to sleep and theyd ask me to assist. The child went right to sleep in my arms. I could discuss a long list of adventures the parents liked about me (I like to take photos or footage)

I love working with kids and am quite good at entertaining them. After I graduated from school, I first worked in daycare in for 3 months before they closed. While I was there I was the teacher for children primarily aged 1-4 years old and occasionally with the 5+ group. Before that I did mainly volunteer work. I have helped with many children's summer programs at the library by helping with crafts and reading books to kids. I also helped with my church's Wednesday evening children's club and currently help with junior church on Sunday mornings. There I would sing songs, read, play games, and do crafts with the kids. I have had the experience at working in a home environment for a little over a year when I worked for my uncles to take care of my great grandmother, as her health was failing. While there, I assisted and eventually took over all housework and cooking, so I would be more than willing to help with meal prep and any light housework you may need.
