More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have had the privilege of caring for a child with cerebral palsy, where I developed a deep understanding of the patience, organization, and emotional support necessary to meet the unique needs of a child with special needs. In this role, I worked closely with the family to create daily routines that balanced learning, play, and rest, while always ensuring the child’s safety and comfort.
In addition to my caregiving experience, my professional roles as an Operations Associate at Success Academy and the YMCA have further strengthened my communication and organizational skills. I worked directly with children and their families, helping to manage health records, plan events, and facilitate clear and effective communication between parents and staff. These experiences have sharpened my ability to address any concerns parents may have, maintain schedules, and ensure a safe and engaging environment for children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging in all fun activities such as games, outdoor activities, or even art and crafts. Along with this I find it very important to create a fun learning environment from time to time. With my experience with this from working for a charter school, I have all the tools and skills to get children engaged at a level of still learning with joy!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of babysitting is ensuring the child's safety and well-being at all times. This involves being attentive, creating a safe environment, and anticipating potential risks. It also includes understanding the child's needs, such as feeding, hygiene, and emotional comfort, while maintaining clear communication with the parents. Ultimately, the goal is to provide a nurturing, fun, and secure experience for the child.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny memories involves a little girl who loved imaginative play. We had this routine where, every Wednesday after school, we’d set up a “magical forest” in the backyard using blankets, pillows, and all sorts of props. She would play the role of a fairy queen, and I’d be her loyal dragon friend. We’d spend hours making up adventures, telling stories, and pretending to solve mysteries in the forest. It was amazing to see her creativity blossom, and those afternoons were full of laughter and pure joy. It’s those kinds of little moments that stick with you.
It’s wonderful how simple traditions like baking cookies or playing pretend can mean so much to the kids—and to us as well!
