More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Along with my medical background, I have served as a youth group leader, planning engaging activities for children in early elementary grades. I have also participated in medical missions in West Africa through my church.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really love spending time outdoors with the kids I care for. Whether we’re playing outside, getting a little wet, or even a bit messy, I’m right there with them enjoying every minute. I always bring extra clothes.
I enjoy planning little outings like trips to the zoo, going to the park, or even running to the store for school project. Safety is very important to me, which is why I even gave up my Jeep for a safer, quieter car better suited for transporting children (and that says a lot because I loved my Jeep!).
As a mom of two grown boys who are now out of the house, and with my background as a nurse, I bring both care and attentiveness to every child. Since I don’t have grandchildren yet, the kids I care for get lots of love, patience, and attention.
I also like to keep screen time to a minimum unless parents say otherwise, and focus more on play, creativity, and interaction. My goal is always to create a safe, fun, and happy environment where kids can just be kids.

I believe communication and kindness are so important on both sides of the nanny and parent relationship. Working together as a team, while always respecting the parents’ wishes, helps create the best environment for the children.

My top priorities are always the safety of the children and, most importantly, making sure they feel loved, secure, and cared for every single day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments happened just last Saturday. One of the little boys I’ve been caring for said that I was his “K.” He’s only one, so he’s still learning how to say names and words, but it meant so much to me. Moments like that remind me how special these bonds are and how much love and trust can grow, even at such a young age.
