My mom is a teacher and before Covid hit I was often in her classroom helping out and working with her kiddos on homework and other assignments.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing puzzles, board games and little arts and crafts. My love language is gift giving, so I often find myself making little gifts for my loved ones. I love showing that to my nieces and seeing the creativity pour out. I grew up playing sports and always running in the grass, so a day at the park or out on a walk is always a go to... when the weather allows.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to be, aside from making sure I am clear on the rules of the house and the way the house is ran and things like that, is making sure the little ones are safe, happy, healthy and feel loved. Feeding into those parts of their lives is so important to me. Creating that wholesome foundation for them to develop into the amazing young adults you created them to be is so rewarding to be apart of.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments when babysitting was after the third or fourth time sitting for a family I got a facetime call from the Mother of the family and during the call the youngest (4 years old) leaned in and asked when I was going to come hang out with her again and she showed me the picture she drew. It was so heart warming to see that I made a difference and that she had fun, even when I couldn't give her ice cream before bed.
