A little bit about me

I have a son who is currently 10 months old that I will be taking with me. I volunteered at a preschool during high school, worked at a daycare as a caregiver and then assistant manager for a year and a half, worked at a headstart program as a teachers aide. Then, I worked at a Kindercare. I am currently working at Corvallis community children’s center as a teachers assistant. I have also been babysitting since I was 11-12 years old.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered (more like took a class) where I was in a preschool and helped the children get ready for kindergarten by learning shapes, colors, etc.
I have been baby sitting since I was 11 years old.
I worked at a daycare called My bundle of joy from July of 2017 to October of 2018, there I prepared food for the littles, changed their diapers, played with them, and coordinated nap times to put them down for a nap.
In October of 2018 I moved to Brownsville, OR and I started working at a headstart program in Lebanon. There, I prepped meals, helped put the kids to sleep, cleaned and played with the kids.
I then, moved to the Hillsboro area temporarily and started working at Kindercare.
I moved to Philomath November of 2019 and got a job at a daycare called Corvallis community children’s centers as a teacher assistant. There I help kids learn potty training, and help them with getting ready to learn for kindergarten.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts
Playing outside/in the mud
Going to the park
Going to the library

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is getting the one on one time with the child, helping the develop their physical, mental and emotional needs, and also giving them their creative/messy times that they need to grow.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for kids with down syndrome for a little time and autism.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment when I was babysitting was the two boys asking me to go to the park, so we went and we passed by a ton of ducks in the pond.
