A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Kirsten. I am 32 years old with 15+ years of childcare experience. I am currently seeking a live-in nanny position. I have a master's degree in social work and have been employed in the mental health field since 2018, where I've had the pleasure of working with youth as both a play therapist and a crisis counselor (my current role).

While I love the work that I do, I truly miss the joys of working with children in the more intimate and non-clinical setting that nannying offers. Prior to becoming a social worker, I had the opportunity to nanny for several amazing families with children ranging from ages 0-14.

My goal as a caregiver is to create an environment where children feel safe, loved, and comfortable being themselves. I enjoy doing arts & crafts, board games, imaginative play, and outdoor activities with the kids in my care. In my free time, I love to read and paint.
