Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Recently I was a Live In Nanny in London for a Private Family of 4, Mum- Paediatric Brain Surgeon, Dad- Barrister, 1 boy aged 4 and 1 girl aged 8. In the year I was with the family my routine would be Monday-Friday, occasional weekends + whenever I was needed. I am completely flexible and more than happy to work as much time as you need me! My routine was to wake the kids up, make breakfast, get them ready for school, school drop off, running any errands the parents needed help with, school pick-up, attending after school clubs such as swimming, martial arts, tutoring, piano lessons, helping with homework, cooking dinner for the family, clean/wash up. Some nights I would then get them ready for bed, read to the younger boy and get them both to sleep. At the beginning of my position I completed my paediatric first aid course.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy taking the kids to the park, the library, museums, activity clubs and cafes. I also enjoy baking with children and any form of creative tasks such as painting and drawing.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is being trustworthy and reliable, not only to the parents but also to the children. Bonding with them and them trusting you. I am a very loving, understanding and fun nanny!
The most important part about being a nanny...
In my time being a nanny there has been so many precious moments but my favourites are definitely when the kids have came home from school and told me they had made me things! Such as a Valentine’s Day card or drawings of the family with me in them as-well!
