A little bit about me

Hi! My name is kortney I’m 19 years old. I recently moved to South Carolina from Arizona! I have experience working at Kinder Care School as an infant teacher as well as a 2-3 year teacher. I often stayed late from my shift to help with after care and doing activities with the pre-school age and loved it! While I have received a job here in South Carolina working in the hospital my start date isn’t until beginning of July and would love to help parents out there how ever I can, from being an occasional babysitter, to being a nanny for the family!
I like reading and drawing. I always try my best to bring new activities to do during the day as I have found it to help with different sensory, and learning developments. I love taking the kids outside (even just the backyard) as I think it is very important!

The most important thing to me about being a nanny is doing what’s in the best interest for the children, and helping them when they don’t understand or when they are having a hard time. Making sure the kids are safe and having a good time!

My favorite nanny moment was watching a child I cared for reach an important milestone after weeks of practice. Seeing their excitement reminded me how rewarding it is to help children learn, grow, and gain confidence every day!
