A little bit about me

I’m a 50 year old female that began Babysitter First Aid through Red Cross when I was 12. I continued with First Responder, CPR, & First Aid certifications when I worked 9-1-1 dispatching in 1999. I was re-certified when I became a nursing assistant. I have a small service animal that stays with me and is very kid friendly. I have also worked a good bit of my career in office/time management so prioritizing is an essential aspect of my personality.
I love cooking/some light cleaning. I like to keep tidy and organized. It makes living easier when you can find something when you need it.
I am willing to do live in but would prefer a separate living area for privacy. I do have a significant other. We moved up here approximately 2 months ago and are still looking for a landing zone for ourselves. I currently am residing in Big Timber.
I have horses/farm experience as well and would be ecstatic to find a place that has a large area for our farm dogs to roam. They keep varmints away.

Churches, personal home for 10 years (step children), prior babysitting for neighborhood and church families when parents wanted time alone.

Outdoor weather appropriate events walks, picnics, swimming, anything that keeps them on the sun, bike riding etc

The most important part of being a Nanny is involvement with the child. They are always wanting to explore and learn but each child has their own way of thinking. It is important to understand their way of thinking and work within that realm to keep their attention and creativity flowing.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was when I was counting some change to roll and my 6 year old charge asked what I was doing. I showed him and explained money to him. He understood and helped me count out proper change to roll. I love doing homework with elementary age child. They seem to pick it up quickly and are excited to learn new skills.
