A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Kristen, I’m 21 and have been caring for little ones since I was 13 when I started as a mother’s helper, and I’ve loved it ever since. For the past two years, I’ve been with a wonderful family three days a week, caring for two boys who I started with when they were just 6 months and 1.5 years old—now they’re heading off to full-time Montessori in August, and I’m excited to find another family to grow with. I’ve also cared for two little girls (3 months and 2 years old) when I was 16, and I have several references who can tell you how nurturing, dependable, and hands-on I am. I was a Girl Scout for 13 years and a dancer for 11, which taught me how to lead with kindness, patience, and creativity. I’m big on finding that perfect balance between keeping kids safe and letting them just be kids—playing, exploring, crafting, and going on little adventures to the park or library!
