I have 7+ years of teaching experience in k-6 which includes being a special education teacher and classroom teacher. During these jobs I have received numerous trainings in behavior de-escalation, reading intervention, and social emotional learning.
While in college, I nannied for 2 neurodiverse boys. My duties included taking them to therapy appointments, outdoor activities in the community, providing services at home, preparing meals, toileting assistance, and meaningful play.
