I worked at four different daycare facilities. I started with infants and toddlers. Then after I moved back home, I began working with 2- and 3-year-olds, in a classroom setting. I also taught as a teacher to kids getting ready to begin kindergarten
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Teaching new ways to learn abc and numbers by hands on activities. I like to allow kids the option of participating in anything we do, which allows the children to learn how to speak up for themselves and use their voices. Fingerpainting, music, and hands on activities are the best. I enjoy taking the kids outside to learn about nature and the world around them.

My experience with special needs children...
I worked with kids one on one who had speech impediment, I had two children who were on the autistic spectrum. I worked with an infant who was on the spectrum as well. Each approach was different according to the child. When working with these kids I learned what language each child understood best.
