I started working with children at 16, and everything I have done since has connected to serving children, families, and the Early Childhood professionals that support them. For over 30 years I have provided support for families and care, love, and responsive attention that children both need and deserve. I believe in hands-on learning through play, following children's leads, and providing the most joyous childhood possible for each little human because I know what a positive impact that can have! I just moved to Logan with my husband after 20 years in Savannah, GA. I have a 19-year-old bonus son who is entering the Navy this Fall. We are "empty-nesters" who would love to do it all over again! I teach online Master's classes in Early Childhood for Concordia University St. Paul, and just left my full-time job as a Professional Learning Specialist (supporting/training ECE professionals) in GA, along with the family I nannied for for over 10 years, who are now friends for life!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Not sure how to choose just one…might be when we made a “ramen noodle restaurant” one day and invited all the neighborhood friends to eat, or the adventures to the beach or zoo we took. But I have to admit, the moments of checking on three little ones who are fast asleep and knowing we had a great time, everything is cleaned up, and I still have time to get some laundry put away and lunches made for the next day so mom and dad don’t have to do that when they got home felt pretty great also.
