A little bit about me

I grew up in suburban Chicago in a very loving and nurturing home. My parents worked very hard both at home and in their chosen fields. My experience with childcare started at the young age of twelve. This is where I discovered my love for children and continued caring for them as a means to earn money through middle and high-school. From there I went to college and even worked part time as a preschool teacher at one point, while taking classes. I studied abroad and eventually lived in Costa Rica for four years. This is where I met and married the father of my son who is now 25. He served in the Maines and lives in Dallas where he is finishing school in cyber security. I also have a 18 year old daughter who is beginning her life as a young adult. I would describe myself as a empathetic nurterer with a lot of patience. Being a empty nester, I'm missing and craving my role as a caregiver. I believe I shine in caring for others and would love to continue to do so for a family in need.
