Hi, I’m Kristina! I’m a 24 year old CCSU graduate with a degree in fine arts and I’m currently attending SCSU and getting my masters in Library Science! I love working with children, animals and have skills cooking, cleaning, tutoring and doing fun activities like art and reading! I have years of experience pet sitting, nannying, child/day care, parks and recreation and helping my younger siblings at home! My ultimate goal is to become a children’s librarian and I’d love to get more first hand experience with kids! I can do any time and even overnight if need be, but I do not drive. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as a nanny, in a daycare, and for after school care for children. did some after school child care volunteer work and worked with special needs children as a teenager and worked as a behavior technician for young children with autism! I also have younger siblings and cousins that I have been cooking, cleaning and helping take care of since childhood.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely love anything crafty or art related!!! Drawing, painting, clay, sewing, crocheting, scrapbooking and more! I’m a huge reader as well and would love to read books to kids. I’m extremely imaginative and would have no issues playing with toys or playing pretend! I also have lots of computer knowledge and game experience.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of taking care of children is compassion, understanding and creativity. I want to be a person that your children feel safe and cared for around and for them to have fun!!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with kids on all ends the autism spectrum, including nonverbal, while in high school. I ended up getting a scholarship from an autism awareness fund! I’m super passionate about providing every single child a compassionate, understanding space to learn and grow.
