My name is Kristine, I am 24 years of age. I am currently self-employed, owning a bar in downtown Sacramento and managing three event spaces. Given the whole pandemic my industry is still shut down. I am doing light work from laptop but looking to see how if I can find a part time job helping out other families. I did have a temporary nannying job with a 7-month old from February 2021-May 2021 but it ended as the family was military and it was just for a few months during deployment. I have been working from home since March of 2020. I am an animal lover, I currently have 2 dogs and two cats.I am mainly looking for a family who has a newborn. I have experience with all ages of kids. I can provide my own transportation and I am fully insured. I can provide proof of insurance and a valid license. I can provide references as well. Activities I enjoy doing with children would be going on walks, looking and enjoying the nature. Listening to the birds and the wind blow. Enjoying the fresh air and the quietness. Activities I love doing indoor would be playing with the child and the toys that they have. Helping them learn to crawl and walk.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure you have all information before starting a job. I believe that both parties have to be completely honest and upfront about what they are looking for. It is really hard to find a great connection with not only a child but a family as well. I believe that work is put on both sides but in the end it is completely worth it!

My experience with special needs children has been minimal but I do have experience. It is important that I know what I am going into and the information has been shared with me before a job starts.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is building a bond with not only the child but being accepted as part of the family. Recently one of the children I nannied learned and understood my name. I just love that they know who I am and are so happy and excited when I get to go visit!
