I worked at Wyandot Behavioral Health with children, caring for them all day at the facility while also engaging in activities and learning to help with coping and life skills. I have experience babysitting, and lived experience being the oldest of 5.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing crafts, painting, playing with clay/playdough, teaching how to do other art projects and even simple (safe) science projects, learning about nature outside, exploring and enjoying nature, looking for cool things like rocks outside, teaching about animals (worked at animal shelters for years), etc. I'm a kid at heart!

I have experience working with a few different children with autism at my time at Wyandot Behavioral Health. I helped them with their routines while doing school work and helping them stay calm while respecting their needs and providing a calm demeanor and space whenever possible.
