Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been a teacher in early childhood education centers for 7 years. I began working as an Assistant in Infant classes and worked my way up through the Toddler and Preschool classrooms, all the way to Pre-K. As a Pre-K teacher, I ran a jam packed Summer Camp program that included field trips to museums, grocery stores, and libraries, as well as CTA bus trips and water days!

I enjoy bringing children along with me to explore the city. I enjoy walking with them through familiar neighborhoods or taking a CTA bus to explore a new playground. I believe it's important to expose children to the environment they live in, and we live in such a great city, why not!
The most important part about being a nanny...
While I adore and cherish my time with the children in my care, I also enjoy helping families learn strategies to work through challenging moments. Helping children regulate their emotions is one of my favorite aspects of the job and I'm always happy to share tips with parents!
