A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Kylan. I am a 20 year old college student and a legal assistant at the Ladan Law Frim. I have always loved caring for others especially children. I was nanny for three years for a beautiful young boy named Maxwell and he was such a joy to take care of. We had conflicting scheduled and I was unable to watch him, however I do miss him very much and visit him often. Though my line of work I do not get the joy of watching children as much as I used to.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have multiple years of volunteering at a special need therapy center. While volunteering there I learned patients, kindness, and found love of helper others. The tasks at the volunteering center was always watching those who were riding the horses and making sure that everyone remain safe, while provided the best experience to those who participated in the events held. I also have three year of experience taking care of and infant all the way until he turned three. I no longer work for this family because of conflicting schedules and the travel distant I had to commute every week.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

While watching your children they will always have loads of fun. I tend to spend most of my time outside taking walks or playing at a park. However there are times were weather will not a be as sunny and that what arts and crafts and board games are for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The one thing that matters most is seeing a little one enjoy their time. The smiles a little laugh always seems to bring joy to what may seem like a bad or gloomy day.

My experience with special needs children...

As stated previously I volunteered at Walk on Water ministries. A facility were the specialize in special needs therapy. I have experience working with non-verbal's, high functioning and low functioning. As time went by at the facility I learned all it take is a lot of patients and understand. Through my time there I also learn the basic of sign language. I do not know much be any means however I am eager to learn more.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite and biggest moments I have had while being nanny: I worked for the Phillips family for three years. I watched their son from two months old all the way up until he hit the big three! There was one day where he finally learned how to say love. And as our day concluded and I was getting ready to leave, saying our normal goodbyes as always. This consisted of a hug and a lot of see you tomorrows. He looked at me said " I love you Ms. Kylan" and it just melted my heart and I knew that I could never let our relationship fade away. Even though I do not work for them anymore I still make time to go visit and see my little Maxwell.

I am a 23 year old young woman in Orlando with experience in nannying young children (4-12), as well as being a day time camp counselor for preschool-1st grade age children. I have experience with mid-high functioning autistic children and consider myself patient and understanding to children's individual needs. I do have boundaries that I will enforce with children (ie "No means no"), but I understand that child care is full of pivots and adapting to day to day challenges. I love to be playful with children, as well as enrich them with learning opportunities whenever possible. I am looking for a family that aligns with my values and respects me as a care taker for their children!
