A little bit about me

I am attending ETSU majoring in Elementary Education, I am originally from Greeneville, Tennessee. I started working in a local Elementary school my Junior year of High School. Where I learned quickly how to deal with different personalities and situations and how to adapt to what each child needs. My senior year of High School I started working at my local YMCA in childcare and in the afterschool program. I am CPR certified in adults and pediatrics. I also did programs identifying child abuse, obtained first aid certification, and AED certification and choking situations in infants and older children. While there I developed leadership, hard work, how to handle situations with children with different backgrounds, and caring for them as they are my own. I understand and acknowledge that you have to have a love for children and a passion to help them grow and mature into young adults. Taking care of others children is such a joy and a blessing, and something I do not take lightly.

I have worked at local elementary school in Greeneville. There I helped assistant teach. Then got a job at YMCA where I worked in after-school program and the baby room. Where I have worked for a year and a half. I have also worked at church nursery’s for many years.

Love to play sports, as I played soccer all throughout my childhood, and in High school. I enjoy playing outside like the playground: Love to make crafts and color, paint etc. I enjoy helping with homework, and doing whatever fun the child wants to do.
