I have worked and volunteered at the transition center for young adults with special needs for 2 years. We assist young adults in learning core skills that they will need to live independent and successful lives. This includes teaching them how to use public transport, how to manage a bank account, how to get and keep a job, how to cook food and a whole lot more.

My favorite thing that one of my current kids says is “ooooh”. She is almost 2 and starting to mimic everything you say. One day I said oooh and she copied it and it kills me everytime she does it.
