Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I come from a social work background where I’ve worked closely with children, teens, and families in a variety of settings. My experience is mostly with toddlers and teenagers, and I’m less experienced with infants. From February–August 2025, I also provided full-time nanny care in Nashville for a little boy starting at 14 months old, gaining hands-on toddler experience in daily routines, play, and care.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids engaged through hands-on, creative, and active play. When nannying most recently, we spent a lot of time going on neighborhood walks, visiting the park, library, and community center, and finding any excuse to get outside when the weather was nice. I’m very artsy and enjoy doing crafts, painting, and creative projects with kids, as well as backyard play and water activities in warmer months. I’m a very hands-on caregiver and believe kids learn best through play, exploration, and having fun while staying active.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was accidentally capturing little man’s very first steps on camera. The parents were so grateful I caught it on video since they weren’t there to see it in person. I loved being able to share moments like that with them, and I made a habit of sending pictures and videos throughout the day so they could feel connected and updated on all the little (and big!) moments.
