The most important part about being a nanny...
During winter one of my students, 3 years old, was struggling to get his snow pants off. They kept getting stuck at the heel. I showed him how to grab the bottom so they don't bunch. Next day he was taking them off when he started to struggle again. I turned and found he had them off. I went to congratulate him when he said, "I did the trick you showed me!". Excitement and pride all over his face. It made me so happy to share the accomplishment with him!
