Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy arts and crafts, especially painting and jewelry making. I also enjoy anything sports related and walking. When out with children I cared for, we would often frequent the park or children-friendly places that the parents approved of. When it comes to schoolwork, I find fun in that too. I really enjoy doing math and science related work, so teaching children becomes fun for me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with many different children on all different parts of the spectrum over the past years. I was a student volunteer in a special needs classroom so I got to get to know students and learn how to help them throughout their day. I also have many cousins I have taken care of who are on the spectrum as well.
