A little bit about me

I am looking for a part time nanny job as I continue to go to school! I am starting an esthetician program towards the end of May. My school schedule will be Wednesdays-Saturdays.
I love being around kids, and seeing how they perceive the world. I am a very dependable, respectful and loving person. I am a very attentive and compassionate caregiver. I love seeing kids figure things out and learn things for the first time. I do my best to incorporate fine and gross motor skills into their daily lives, but in a fun way!
In my free time, I love to spend time with my nephew and my family. While I have the knowledge of how to do it, I am not currently CPR certified, but I am willing to obtain a certification if you would like me too! I am looking to start towards the end of May/Early June! Please feel free to reach out :)

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have taught children from the ages 3-14 dance for about 10 years now. I have also helped raise my 6 year old nephew, as well as help raise some of my younger cousins.
I have 3.5 years of paid nannying experience.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Activities I enjoy doing with children include arts and crafts, outdoor play, and creative games that let them express themselves. I love helping kids learn through fun, whether it’s drawing, exploring nature, or making up imaginative stories together.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is to always make sure they learn life values and lessons. I think teaching kids to be kind and inclusive to others, how to share, communicate, coexist with others is very important. In addition to that, I think it's vital to teach them how to love themselves and be kind to themselves as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Seeing her conquer her fear of jumping into the pool! I spent all day showing her it wasn't as scary as she thought. The dogs started to jump into the pool too! We laughed so hard and she finally got the courage to try it with me. After she did it with me, she wanted to do it all by herself! Helping her gain the confidence she needed, then seeing her conquer the fear of doing it was such a rewarding feeling, and made me so proud of her!!
