I got my Bachelor’s degree of science in Family and Consumer Sciences in 2017, majoring in family & child development. I am 24, outgoing, love an active lifestyle. Have experience with children of all ages, ethnicities, and cultural diverse backgrounds. I would say my strongest qualities are my honesty, my vibrancy, my dedication to my work, my initiative, and my drive, and my faith. I have two golden retrievers and one rescue kitten; I am comfortable with pets. In addition I worked at a prestigious private school in Austin, TX, May 2017 - March 2018. I coached cheerleading & tumbling to athletes ages 18 months-18 years January 2018-April 2019. I worked at a cheer gym in college station as an after school provider with children ages 4-11, and happy to send my resume! Looking to relocate from Boston to Austin no later than February 2020.

I have several young cousins that I have cared for along with close family friends for years. I am more than capable of assisting mothers and fathers raise well-functioning, respectable, kind, fun-loving members of society!

Bounce house, playhouse, education center, park, school work, reading, rock climbing, drawing, painting, building, creating, etc; you name it, let’s give it a shot!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Getting to be there for the children when their parents aren’t available, especially for all the developmental milestones (both big and small), is the most important part about being a nanny. I want to help shape and mold their young minds while allowing the children to come into their skin and figure out who they are. One of the biggest parts of being a successful nanny is making sure the children and the parents maintain their connection and with my expertise in family & child development I can guide families of all different dynamics to healthy, loving relationships, while maintaining healthy boundaries.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with children on the mildly autistic spectrum, and have close family friends that have severe cases of Down syndrome, and I worked closely with several special needs children throughout my schooling; however I have had no immediate paid work with special needs children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a nanny was actually this past week with this three year old boy, video calling Santa on this app. When asked how he behaved this year, nice or naughty, he said “a little naughty”. I think this speaks volumes to the type of person I am and to the type of support I bring to young minds. Here he is, all of three years old, admitting that he may have been a little naughty to a common childhood “hero figure”. I admire his honesty, his imagination, and the kind, genuine boy he is growing into.
