Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked as a newborn care specialist, night nurse, and Doula. I’ve also been a full time nanny for a family of 5, so 3 Littles… or at least they started out very little and I was an intricate part of their “village” for many years and was privileged to be able to help each child go from sleep training, teething and diaper changes - to learning how to ride a bike without training wheels, to first days of school and helping with homework! Helping families that have busy and fulfilling lifestyles run smoothly is what I do best.🖤

The most important part about being a nanny...

The role of a nanny with each family, I believe is to help out and fill-in in whatever capacity is needed and necessary to help the family live their best life with the least amount of stress and the most amount of joy. I want every child in my care to feel nurtured and loved, And every parent to feel supported and Secure in the knowledge that their little one(s) is/are Safe, Happy and Healthy 🖤

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with kiddos all over the autism spectrum, Have years of experience with down syndrome, And cerebral palsy. As a registered nurse, I am familiar and comfortable working with a myriad of special needs, From just basic developmental delays to very medically fragile.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite Nanny moment with each child that I have cared for is The very first spontaneously uttered “I love you!” Or from a baby when they are in mom’s arms, and then I walk through the door and they squeal and reach for me because they are excited to see me, It’s the same feeling! When they are old enough, and we have spent enough time together and we have a developed bond, Kids are affectionate for the most part. When they Feel safe and are in a healthy environment, they act silly and that’s because they are comfortable enough to do so. This is also when the autonomous feelings come out that they have for you and there is nothing more rewarding than an Endearing Sentiment, Or spontaneous cuddles🖤
