My experience with special needs children...

I have had a few autistic children in my classroom and love to learn about each child and how to best help them be successful. My brother has aspergers and my younger cousin is high functioning autistic as well. I am not extremely well versed in special needs but I am willing to learn and grow in order to best care for each child.
