Hi! My name is Alainah Reed I'm 19 years old, My mom, Belinda Reed used to run a day care called, "Tiny Toes" and now that she is retired I would love to take after her business with, "Tiny Toes 2" I went to college for teaching in special needs and neurodiversity and specialized in phonics instruction, I love kids (that's why I worked with chuck-e-cheese for a few years) Unfortunately I'm not able to have my own, so I like to enjoy the company of others! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My mom owned a daycare and I have helped her run it for years, I have watched probably over 100 kids on my own since I was 10, and that's not including my time working for chuck-e-cheese.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing STEM games, I love to engage their minds and make them think! I like to teach them to use their imagination, by building fort out of boxes, or "fairy houses" out of construction paper, I also love going outside and letting them plant their own seeds during the summer, usually a cantaloupe or watermelon seed and we note down how much it grows until its ready to pick. Any moment where I can be educational I will.

My experience with special needs children...

I do tutor a very intelligent kid who is on the autism spectrum, and I occasionally babysit.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I bought a big roll of crafting paper and me and the girls I was babysitting made a Fairy backdrop that we tapped to their door frame and cut the door we drew out, and used "magic portal scissors" and we crawled through and were transported to a fairy world. I tell you, the smiles and looks of Awe on their faces just melted my heart.
